Squad Goals: A Starting 5 Lineup Fit For Heaven

The Golden State Warriors could arguably have the most talented starting 5 in NBA history with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and DeMarcus Cousins. The real question is, who would you pick as your starting 5 Spiritual Warriors to help lead you to heaven right now? Who do you follow on social media to inspire you to learn more about your faith and to help you grow in virtue and become a saint? It was tough narrowing down my squad, but I’m confident in my starting 5 lineup below:

Fr. Mike Schmitz
(1) Point Guard

Having a strong vocal leader on your team is crucial for keeping everyone on the same page. Fr. Mike’s YouTube videos on faith, pop culture, and headline reflections have touched millions of lives. I’d trust Fr. Mike to call the right play and lead our team in tense end-of-game situations.

(2) Shooting Guard

When the ball is in Leah’s hands, she’s able to deliver positive messages on truth, beauty, and love time and time again at conferences and through her popular, Do Something Beautiful podcast. I’d trust her to have the last shot at the end of the game or deliver that keynote speech that fires you up to live a life of virtue.
